Equipment

  • Microwave-safe Mug
  • Microwave

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 0.125 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.0625 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon marinara sauce
  • 1 generous tablespoon shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 5 mini pepperoni (or your favorite healthy toppings like sliced bell peppers or mushrooms for a healthier twist!)
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (such as basil or oregano)

Instructions

  • Grab your favorite microwave-safe mug and combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt directly inside. Give it a good stir to ensure everything is well mixed.
  • Pour in the milk and olive oil, then mix everything together until you have a smooth batter. A few small lumps are perfectly normal and won't affect your delicious pizza!
  • Next, gently spoon the marinara sauce over the batter, spreading it evenly across the surface to create your pizza base.
  • Generously sprinkle on the shredded mozzarella cheese, arrange your mini pepperoni (or healthy veggie toppings!), and finish with a dash of dried Italian herbs.
  • Place your mug in the microwave. Cook for approximately 1 minute 10 seconds to 1 minute 20 seconds, or until the pizza crust has risen and the toppings are bubbling hot. (Cooking times can vary depending on your microwave, so keep a close eye on it!)
  • Carefully remove your mug pizza and enjoy your super quick, warm, and satisfying meal right away!

Notes

Feel free to swap any of the topping in the ingredient list with whatever you have lying around. It will probably taste just as amazing!
