Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz Filet Mignon (about 2 small steaks)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 3 tablespoons Salted Butter
  • Salt to taste
  • freshly ground Black Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Pat your steaks dry with paper towels and generously season both sides with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat, then add the olive oil. Let it get nice and hot.
  • Carefully place the seasoned filets into the hot pan. Cook for about 2 minutes on each side until a beautiful golden-brown crust forms.
  • Reduce the heat to low. Add the butter to the pan.
  • As the butter melts, gently spoon it over the steaks, basting them continuously for another 3-5 minutes until they reach your preferred doneness (e.g., medium-rare).
  • Transfer the cooked steaks to a plate. For extra flavor, drizzle any remaining pan butter over them before serving immediately. Enjoy your perfectly cooked, healthy meal!
