  • 17 large olives
  • 1/2 lb deli-style hard salami thinly sliced
  • 12 oz marinated mozzarella balls
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes

Instructions
 

  • Slide one large olive onto each skewer to create the base.
  • Fold a slice of salami in half, then in half again, and thread it onto the skewer beneath the olive.
  • Add one marinated mozzarella ball to each skewer.
  • Finish each skewer with a cherry tomato.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

These skewers can be assembled several hours in advance and stored covered in the refrigerator until serving. Use decorative patriotic picks for an extra festive touch.
