- 1.5 teaspoons matcha tea powder
- 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (or extract)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- whipped cream (optional)
In a mason jar, combine matcha powder, brown sugar, vanilla bean paste, warm water, and condensed milk. Use an electric hand whisk to mix thoroughly.
Scrape the jar's bottom and sides with a spoon to eliminate clumps.
Add milk, heavy cream, and a few ice cubes. Seal the jar and shake for 10 to 15 seconds.
Pour over ice in a cup, top with whipped cream if desired, sprinkle matcha powder, and enjoy!
