Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 teaspoons matcha tea powder
  • 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (or extract)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • whipped cream (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a mason jar, combine matcha powder, brown sugar, vanilla bean paste, warm water, and condensed milk. Use an electric hand whisk to mix thoroughly.
  • Scrape the jar's bottom and sides with a spoon to eliminate clumps.
  • Add milk, heavy cream, and a few ice cubes. Seal the jar and shake for 10 to 15 seconds.
  • Pour over ice in a cup, top with whipped cream if desired, sprinkle matcha powder, and enjoy!
