Equipment

  • Slow Cooker
  • Baking Sheet
  • parchment paper or aluminum foil

Ingredients

  • 1 rack baby back ribs about 3 – 3 1/2 pounds
  • 1/3 cup Keto BBQ Spice Dry Rub
  • 1 cup Keto BBQ Sauce or your favorite low-carb store-bought option

Instructions

  • Start by trimming any extra fat from your baby back ribs and pat them completely dry with paper towels. This helps the rub stick!
  • Gently remove the thin membrane from the back of the rib rack. It's much easier if you use a paper towel to get a good grip. This step is key for tender ribs!
  • Cut the rack into two or three pieces to fit comfortably in your slow cooker. Generously rub the Keto BBQ Spice Dry Rub all over every side of the rib pieces.
  • Place the first rib section into your slow cooker. Spoon some of your Keto BBQ Sauce over the top. Layer in any remaining rib sections, spreading more sauce on each layer.
  • Cover your slow cooker and let the ribs cook on the LOW setting for 6 hours, or on HIGH for 3 hours, until they are wonderfully tender and falling off the bone.
  • Once done, preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Carefully transfer the cooked ribs to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  • Brush the remaining BBQ sauce over the tops of the ribs. Bake in the hot oven for about 5-7 minutes until the sauce is deliciously caramelized. For an extra thick, sticky layer, add more sauce and bake for another 5-7 minutes.
  • Let the ribs cool slightly, then slice and enjoy your perfectly tender and flavorful creation!
