Ingredients
  

  • 64 ounces sweetened cranberry juice (8 cups)
  • 2 liters ginger ale (about 8.5 cups, use sugar-free for a healthier option)
  • 16 ounces 100% pure orange juice (2 cups, no pulp)
  • 4 tablespoons fresh lime zest
  • 6 whole cinnamon sticks
  • 6 whole star anise
  • 5 sprigs fresh thyme (or rosemary)
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • In a large punch bowl or pitcher, gently combine the chilled sweetened cranberry juice, fresh orange juice, and vibrant lime zest.
  • Add the whole cinnamon sticks, star anise, and fresh thyme sprigs to infuse their wonderful holiday aromas.
  • Refrigerate this mixture for at least 30 minutes (or up to 24 hours ahead!) to allow the flavors to deepen and ensure it's perfectly cold.
  • Just before serving, pour in the bubbly ginger ale and stir gently.
  • Add plenty of ice and garnish generously with the fresh cranberries and extra citrus slices if desired, for a truly festive presentation.
