  • 1 packet taco seasoning 1-ounce
  • taco shells soft or hard, for serving

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, warm the olive oil and soy sauce over medium heat. Using your hands, crumble the dry tofu directly into the skillet. Aim for a delightful mix of smaller and slightly larger pieces for great texture in every bite.
  • Evenly sprinkle the entire packet of taco seasoning over the crumbled tofu in the skillet. Stir gently to coat everything.
  • Sauté the tofu crumbles for 15-20 minutes over medium heat. To achieve those irresistible browned and crispy edges, let the tofu sit undisturbed for 2-3 minute intervals before stirring. Repeat this a few times until golden, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
