Base
- 5 oz pretzel sticks (or 35 Oreos)
- 1.25 lb white chocolate chopped
- 2 oz semisweet chocolate chopped
Decoration
- chocolate-covered malt balls halved
- black royal icing from a tube or homemade
Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving at least 1 inch overhang on the two long sides.
Arrange the pretzels or cookies in a single layer to completely cover the bottom of the pan.
Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl on 50% power in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth. Pour it evenly over the pretzels/cookies and spread with a small offset spatula to cover completely.
Melt the semisweet chocolate the same way (50% power, 30-second bursts). Let it sit at room temperature for 5 minutes, then transfer to a small resealable bag. Snip a tiny corner and pipe spider-web designs over the white chocolate.
While the white chocolate is still wet, place halved malt balls cut-side down to form spider bodies. Use black royal icing to pipe tiny eyes and legs on each spider. Let set completely, then cut or break into pieces.
