Spooky Sweet & Salty Halloween Popcorn Balls

These spooky, gooey treats are the perfect mix of sweet and salty for your Halloween celebrations. Easy to make and fun to decorate with candy eyes!

  • Silicone spatula
  • 9x13 inch Baking Dish

Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup salted butter plus more for greasing
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 12 cups popped popcorn

Mix-ins

  • 1/2 cup Reese’s Pieces divided
  • 1/2 cup peanut M&M’s divided
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks broken into small pieces
  • Candy eyes optional

Instructions
 

  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter. Set aside.
  • Pop the popcorn and place it in the prepared dish.
  • In a large heavy pot, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until smooth.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  • Pour over popcorn, add broken pretzels, half the Reese's Pieces, and half the M&Ms. Fold until evenly coated.
  • Let cool for 3-5 minutes. With buttered hands, shape into balls and place on parchment paper.
  • Press remaining candy and candy eyes onto the outside while still warm. Let cool completely.
