  • 1 medium head Cauliflower cut into bite-sized florets
  • Water Enough for steaming (about 1 inch in your pot)
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (or a healthy alternative like olive oil or avocado oil)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder (optional, but highly recommended for flavor!)
  • 2 tablespoons Grated Parmesan Cheese (optional, for an extra savory touch)
  • Lemon Wedges (optional, for a bright, zesty finish)
  • Fresh Parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Pour about one inch of water into a large pot or Dutch oven. Bring this water to a lively boil on your stovetop.
  • Carefully place your cauliflower florets into a steamer basket. Position the basket inside the boiling pot, making sure the water is just below the basket and not submerging the florets. This prevents them from getting waterlogged and ensures perfect texture.
  • Cover the pot with a lid and let the cauliflower steam for 5 to 8 minutes. You'll know it's ready when it's perfectly fork-tender, just how you like it!
  • Gently transfer the steamed cauliflower to a serving bowl. Add the butter (or oil), sea salt, black pepper, and garlic powder if you're using it. Give everything a good toss to ensure each floret is wonderfully coated with flavor.
