Instructions
Get started by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Spread both cans of strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, egg, and granulated sugar together until beautifully smooth and creamy.
Gently drop spoonfuls of the creamy cheesecake mixture over the strawberry layer, spreading it out a bit for an even surface.
Evenly sprinkle the entire box of cake mix over the cheesecake and strawberry layers.
Carefully place thin slices of cold butter all over the cake mix layer, covering as much as possible for that perfect crispy topping.
Bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the strawberry filling is happily bubbling around the edges.
Let your delicious dump cake rest for 15 minutes after baking before serving. This helps it set perfectly!
