Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups water
  • 1/3 cup Swerve Brown or another brown sugar replacement
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves
  • 4 bags black tea
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Combine water, sweetener, and all the spices in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat, whisking, until it reaches a full boil.
  • As soon as it boils, take the pan off the heat. Add the black tea bags and let them steep for 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags, squeezing them gently to get all the flavor out, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Pour the concentrate through a fine-mesh sieve to catch any spice bits, ensuring a smooth liquid.
  • Transfer your ready concentrate into a jar and store it in the refrigerator for up to four weeks. Give it a good shake before each use!
