Sugar-Free Pumpkin Spice Chai Donuts

Ingredients
  

Donuts

  • 1.5 cups almond flour
  • 0.25 cup brown sweetener
  • 2 tsp masala chai spice
  • 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp xanthan gum
  • 4 large eggs
  • 0.25 cup unsalted melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree

Coating

  • 2 tbsp unsalted melted butter
  • 0.5 cup sugar substitute
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix dry ingredients (almond flour, brown sweetener, masala chai spice, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, xanthan gum) in a large bowl until combined.
  • Add wet ingredients (eggs, 1/4 cup unsalted melted butter, vanilla extract, pumpkin puree) and stir with a spatula until smooth.
  • Fill a piping bag with batter and pipe into greased donut molds. Smooth tops.
  • Bake for 16-18 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes.
  • Loosen donuts and transfer to a rack. Brush with 2 tbsp melted butter.
  • Mix sugar substitute and 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice, then roll donuts in mixture to coat.
