1. Combine & Dissolve: In a medium saucepan, thoroughly whisk together the water, cherry juice, protein powder, and magnesium powder (if using) until everything is completely dissolved and smooth. A hand frother or whisk works perfectly here.
2. Bloom Gelatin: Evenly sprinkle the gelatin powder over the liquid mixture in the saucepan. Allow it to sit undisturbed for 2-3 minutes; this process, called "blooming," helps the gelatin absorb liquid.
