Ingredients
  

  • 2 scoops Sour Watermelon Protein Powder (like 1UP Nutrition Clear Protein)
  • 14 fl oz water
  • 5 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1 tablespoon malic acid (optional, for extra sourness)

Instructions
 

  • Combine the water and protein powder in a small saucepan, whisking until smooth and fully dissolved. If you're adding malic acid, stir it in now.
  • Sprinkle the gelatin powder evenly over the liquid surface. Let it sit undisturbed for 2-3 minutes to "bloom" or soften.
  • Gently heat the saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Continue until the gelatin is completely dissolved and the mixture is clear. Do not boil!
  • Carefully pour the warm mixture into your favorite silicone molds or a parchment-lined shallow dish.
  • Transfer to the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until the gummies are firm and fully set.
  • Once set, gently pop the gummies out of the molds. If using a dish, cut them into bite-sized squares. Store these delightful sour treats in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
