Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Large Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground chicken
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.67 cup sugar-free BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 red onion thinly sliced
  • 3 strips cooked bacon crumbled
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and get a baking sheet ready by lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a big bowl, gently combine the ground chicken, eggs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper until everything is well mixed.
  • Carefully spread this chicken mixture onto your lined baking sheet, shaping it into a thin, even circle or rectangle to form your pizza crust.
  • Bake the crust for about 25 minutes, or until it looks golden and feels firm. Then, let it cool for 5-7 minutes to help it set nicely.
  • Increase your oven temperature to 425°F (220°C). Now, spread the BBQ sauce over your baked chicken crust, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, then add your sliced red onion and crumbled bacon.
  • Pop it back into the oven for another 10 minutes, or until the cheese is beautifully melted and bubbly.
  • Let your pizza cool a little, then sprinkle with fresh cilantro before slicing and enjoying this delicious, healthy twist on pizza!
