  • Get your air fryer ready! Preheat it to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes. This quick warm-up ensures your patties cook perfectly.
  • Carefully place your sausage patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they have a little space between them – no crowding allowed! There's no need to thaw if they're frozen; just pop them in as is.
  • Cook fresh patties for 8-10 minutes. If you're using frozen patties, they'll need a bit longer, usually 12-17 minutes. Remember to flip them over halfway through cooking for an even golden crisp and to ensure they cook all the way through.
  • You'll know your patties are done when they're beautifully golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C). A meat thermometer is your best friend here for accuracy and food safety!
  • Let them chill out for 1-2 minutes after cooking. This resting period helps the juices redistribute, keeping them super moist and delicious! Serve them up for a fantastic, fuss-free breakfast or brunch.
