Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Microwave-safe bowls
  • Spoons

Ingredients

  • 12 OREO Cookies classic or your favorite flavor
  • 1/3 cup Pink Candy Wafers
  • 24 oz White Candy Coating like almond bark, chopped into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil or coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup Red Candy Wafers
  • 1/4 cup Valentine's M&M's or festive sprinkles

Instructions

  • Prep Your Base: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Gently twist open your OREO cookies and arrange the cookie halves (the round disc parts) into a 6x4 rectangle on the lined sheet. This will be the delicious foundation for your bark!
  • Melt the White Coating: In a microwave-safe bowl, place your chopped white candy coating. Heat it in the microwave for 1 minute, then stir well. Continue to heat in 30-second bursts, stirring thoroughly after each, until the coating is completely melted and beautifully smooth.
  • Prepare Colorful Drizzles: Grab two small microwave-safe bowls. In one, combine the red candy wafers with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. In the other, mix the pink candy wafers with the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil. Microwave each bowl for 30 seconds, stir, and repeat until both colors are silky smooth and easy to drizzle. Make sure to use separate spoons for each color!
  • Create Your Sweet Canvas: Carefully pour the melted white candy coating over your arranged OREO cookie base, ensuring every cookie half is completely covered. Gently spread the coating to the edges without letting it overflow.
  • Add Valentine's Flair: Now for the fun part! Take your melted pink and red candy and drizzle it randomly and artfully over the white base. While the candy is still wet, generously sprinkle your Valentine's M&M's or other festive sprinkles over the top for that extra pop of color.
  • Chill & Enjoy: Transfer your baking sheet to the refrigerator and let the candy cool for at least one hour, or until it's completely firm. Once chilled, break or cut the set bark into lovely random shapes and pieces. Get ready to share this delightful treat with your loved ones!
