Equipment

  • Double Boiler
  • Saucepan
  • 9x9-inch Baking Dish
  • Parchment Paper
  • Cooking Spray
  • Spatula
  • Plastic Wrap
  • Cutting Board
  • Microwave-safe Bowl
  • Small plastic bag

Ingredients

  • 3 cups white chocolate chips feel free to use sugar-free for a lighter treat!
  • 1 cup sugar cookie mix Betty Crocker works great, or use a gluten-free mix for dietary needs
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 ounces
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup festive sprinkles divided for mixing and topping
  • 3-4 ounces almond bark or extra white chocolate for that pretty drizzle!

Instructions

  • Set up a medium-sized double boiler over simmering water. Add your white chocolate chips, sugar cookie mix, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir gently until everything melts into a smooth, luscious mixture—this usually takes about 5-7 minutes. No need to rush, just let the warmth do its magic!
  • Carefully remove the saucepan from the heat (but keep it on the double boiler if it helps keep it warm). Stir in the pure vanilla extract and half of your festive sprinkles. This really boosts the flavor and adds a pop of color!
  • Grab a 9x9 inch baking dish. Line it with parchment paper, leaving a slight overhang on the sides for easy lifting. Give it a light spray with cooking spray – this makes cleanup and serving a breeze!
  • Pour the warm fudge mixture into your prepared dish. Use a spatula to spread it out evenly. Sprinkle the remaining festive sprinkles on top, pressing them gently into the fudge so they stay put.
  • Cover your dish with plastic wrap and pop it into the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. This firming-up step is super important for perfect fudge slices!
  • Once your fudge is nicely firm, lift it out of the dish using the parchment paper and place it on a cutting board. Cut it into lovely squares. Now, melt your almond bark (or extra white chocolate) in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth. Transfer to a small plastic bag, snip a tiny corner, and artfully drizzle it over each fudge square.
  • Let the drizzle cool and set completely before serving. Enjoy your homemade, delightful Valentine's Day treat!
