Ingredients
  

Filling

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning

Dough & Topping

  • 2 tubes refrigerated flaky biscuits 16.3 ounces each
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Cook the beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any fat, then stir in the taco seasoning and follow the package directions. Let it cool a bit.
  • Flatten half of the biscuits into 4-inch circles and place them on a greased baking sheet. Spoon about 1/4 cup of the meat mixture onto each circle, then sprinkle 1/4 cup cheese on top.
  • Flatten the remaining biscuits and place them over the filling. Pinch the edges tightly to seal.
  • Bake at 400°F until the crust is golden brown, about 12-15 minutes.
