Ingredients
  

Canned Tuna

  • 2 cans tuna (5 oz each), drained
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese or Swiss
  • 2 tbsp green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp butter for cooking

Instructions
 

  • Mix drained tuna, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until well combined.
  • Stir in shredded cheese and chopped green onions. Shape the mixture into 4-5 patties.
  • Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook each patty for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
  • Serve on toasted bread, English muffins, or with a fresh salad. For extra cheesiness, top with cheese and broil briefly.
