Making the Dough (So Easy!)
In a cozy bowl, mix the flour, warm water, and red food coloring with chopsticks or a fork. Stir clockwise until it comes together. Add a tiny bit more water if your dough feels too dry.Lightly flour your counter, then knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it’s smooth and springy. Wrap it in plastic film and let it rest while you prepare the filling.
Unwrap your pretty dough, roll it into a log, and cut it into about 8 equal pieces, each roughly an inch long.
Flatten each piece, then roll it into a thin circle about 3 inches wide to create your dumpling wrappers. Keep them covered so they don't dry out!

Mix until you have a smooth, well-combined mixture.

Crafting Your Heart-Shaped Dumplings (Show Your Love!)
Place about a teaspoon of your chosen filling in the center of a wrapper, shaping it like a small heart. To create the heart shape, gently pinch the wrapper inwards where the two curves of the heart meet. Then, at the top tips of those curves, pinch outwards at an equal distance on both sides.
Starting from one side, take the outward pinch and fold the wrapper into the crescent towards the filling, pleating as you go and sealing each fold. Don't worry if it's not perfect on your first try – practice makes perfect!
Once one side is done, repeat the pleating process on the other crescent. Where the two sides meet in the middle, pinch them together, then tuck and fold down to the very bottom point of the heart. You've got a beautiful heart dumpling!
