Prepare the Delicious Crust: Start by soaking your pitted dates in warm water for 1-2 hours until they're wonderfully soft. Drain them completely, then blend into a smooth, thick paste using an immersion or regular blender.
Next, gently mix in the ground oats, whole rolled oats, and vanilla extract with the date paste. Knead until you have a firm, even dough that holds together beautifully.
Roll out this delightful dough to about 4-5 mm thick. Use a glass or cookie cutter (the same size as your dome molds) to cut out neat circular bases. Set these aside.
