Ingredients
  

Crust

  • cups almond flour
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted

Filling

  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese cubed
  • 8 ounces frozen broccoli thawed and chopped
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • 1. Get Ready: Preheat your oven to 325ºF (160ºC).
  • 2. Easy Crust: In a medium bowl, whisk together the almond flour, garlic powder, and ½ teaspoon salt. Stir in the melted butter until the mixture looks like coarse crumbs. Press this dough firmly into a 9-inch pie pan, covering the bottom and sides. You can use a flat-bottomed glass to smooth out the bottom. Crimp the edges and gently prick the bottom with a fork. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until it's slightly puffed and just starting to turn golden. Let it cool while you prepare the delicious filling.
  • 3. Filling Fun: Scatter the chopped broccoli and the cubed cheddar cheese evenly over the cooled crust. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, minced garlic, the remaining ½ teaspoon salt, and pepper until everything is well combined and creamy. Carefully pour this egg mixture over the broccoli and cheese in the crust.
  • 4. Final Bake: Sprinkle the top with the ¼ cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the center of the quiche is just set and lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 15 minutes before slicing and enjoying this wholesome meal!
