  • Baking Sheets
  • Cooling racks
  • Large bowl with lid

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 8 flour tortillas 10-inch
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment or foil and place cooling racks on top.
  • In a large bowl with a lid, microwave the butter for 1-2 minutes until fully melted.
  • Stack all tortillas and cut them into 12 wedges each. Add them to the melted butter bowl.
  • Put the lid on tightly and shake well until every tortilla piece is coated in butter.
  • In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar. Sprinkle this mixture over the buttered tortillas, then put the lid back on and shake again. If pieces stick together, gently separate them and shake once more.
  • Arrange the coated tortilla wedges in a single layer on the cooling racks. Bake for 8-12 minutes until light golden and crispy.
  • Let them cool completely to room temperature, then store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
