Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup dry white cooking wine
  • 1/2 lemon juice from 1/2 a lemon (fresh is best!)
  • 3 teaspoons minced garlic (freshly minced for bold flavor)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Sizzle the Chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season your chicken pieces generously with salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the hot skillet and sear until beautifully golden and cooked through. Once done, remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  • Soften the Onions: Carefully pour out all but about a tablespoon of the leftover grease from the skillet. Reduce the heat to medium. Toss in the chopped onions and sauté them gently until they start to soften and become fragrant.
  • Create the Sauce Base: Pour in the white cooking wine and fresh lemon juice. Let it simmer, allowing the liquid to reduce by half. This concentrates the delicious flavors!
  • Melt in Flavor: Stir in the minced garlic and butter. Continue to simmer, stirring occasionally, until the butter has completely melted into the sauce.
  • Cheesy Finish: Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet and stir well until it's fully combined and creates a creamy sauce.
  • Coat and Serve: Return the cooked chicken pieces to the skillet. Toss them gently to coat every piece evenly in that amazing lemon-garlic sauce. Serve immediately and enjoy!
