Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 2.5 lb chicken legs about 8 drumsticks
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • BBQ sauce Your favorite, for coating
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Give the air fryer basket a light spray with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  • Season the chicken legs generously all over with salt and pepper.
  • Place the seasoned chicken legs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Make sure not to overcrowd them so they can cook evenly and get nice and crispy.
  • Cook for 22-25 minutes. They are perfectly done when the skin is deliciously crispy and an internal meat thermometer reads 160°F (71°C) in the thickest part of the leg.
  • Once cooked, carefully remove the chicken legs and brush them generously with your favorite BBQ sauce. Serve immediately and enjoy your perfectly cooked, healthy chicken!
