- 2 cups almond flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large egg whites room temperature
- 1 cup powdered sugar for dusting
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds optional
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine almond flour, granulated sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and almond extract until mixed well.
In a separate bowl, whip the egg whites until soft peaks form.
Carefully fold the whipped egg whites into the dry mixture until just combined.
Drop tablespoons of the dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about two inches between each.
Optionally, sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden while the centers stay soft.
After cooling slightly, dust with powdered sugar and enjoy!
