  • 1/2 to 1 cup pizza sauce (choose a low-sugar option if aiming for healthier)
  • 2-3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • diced ham for a healthy twist!
  • A pinch Garlic Powder Optional, for extra flavor.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to a hot 475°F (245°C). Lightly grease a 10x15-inch baking pan with olive oil, then sprinkle evenly with cornmeal. This helps create a wonderfully crisp crust!
  • Gently press your pizza dough into the prepared pan, stretching it to cover the entire surface. If using refrigerated dough, ensure it's at room temperature for easier handling.
  • Spread your favorite pizza sauce evenly over the dough, reaching all the way to the edges. Feel free to use more or less to suit your taste!
  • Generously sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, spreading it to the edges for maximum coverage.
  • Now's the fun part! Add any desired healthy toppings like fresh veggies or lean proteins. If you like, sprinkle a little garlic powder and dried oregano for an aromatic touch.
  • Pop the pan into the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
