Gently spread this rich, creamy piccata sauce over the chicken layer in the dish.
Finish by sprinkling the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the top.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and perfectly heated through.
Optional for a golden top: For 2-3 minutes, you can carefully broil the casserole to get a beautiful golden-brown cheese topping. Make sure to watch it closely so it doesn't burn!
