Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp dried minced onion
  • 1 tsp dried minced garlic
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • First, set your air fryer to preheat at 400°F (200°C). To ensure your meatballs don't stick and for an easy cleanup, lightly spray the air fryer basket with a non-stick cooking spray or line it with a piece of parchment paper.
  • In a spacious mixing bowl, gently combine the ground chicken, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, dried minced onion, dried minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix just enough until all ingredients are incorporated; avoid overmixing. Then, form the mixture into 12 equally sized meatballs. Using a cookie scoop can help you create perfectly uniform meatballs!
  • Carefully arrange your raw meatballs in the preheated air fryer basket, making sure they are in a single layer and not touching. This allows the hot air to circulate freely around each meatball for even cooking. You might need to cook them in two batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • Air fry the meatballs for 10-12 minutes. To guarantee they are fully cooked and safe to eat, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature; it should reach at least 160°F (71°C). If you notice some meatballs cooking faster than others, gently rotate them halfway through the cooking time. Serve these delicious, healthy meatballs warm!
