  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil for super easy cleanup, then place an oven-safe wire rack on top. This setup helps the bacon crisp evenly and prevents it from sitting in its own grease.
  • Carefully arrange the bacon slices in a single layer on the wire rack. Try not to let them overlap too much so each piece gets perfectly crispy!
  • Pop the baking sheet into your preheated oven on the middle rack. Bake for about 18-23 minutes for regular-cut bacon. If you're using thin slices, aim for 15-19 minutes, and for thick-cut, it might take 22-26 minutes. Keep an eye on it and cook until it reaches your desired crispiness.
  • Once done, use tongs to transfer the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels. Gently pat the top with more paper towels to soak up any extra grease. Let it cool for a few minutes – it gets even crisper as it cools! Enjoy your perfectly baked, less messy bacon.
