Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup sugar-free powdered sweetener
  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup sifted cocoa powder Optional, for chocolate flavor

Instructions
 

  • Begin by placing your softened unsalted butter into a large mixing bowl.
  • Using an electric mixer (or a stand mixer with a paddle attachment), beat the butter on medium speed for about 3 minutes. You'll see it transform into a lighter color and a wonderfully smooth texture, making a perfect airy base!
  • Next, gently add the sugar-free powdered sweetener to the bowl. Mix on low speed for 1 minute to incorporate, then increase to medium speed and continue mixing for another 1-2 minutes until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  • Now, pour in the heavy whipping cream and vanilla extract, then sprinkle in the pinch of salt.
  • Continue mixing on medium speed until all ingredients are perfectly combined and you achieve a smooth, creamy, and delightful frosting consistency.
  • For chocolate frosting: Simply add ½ cup of sifted cocoa powder along with the powdered sweetener in step 3. If your frosting becomes too thick, just add a tiny bit more heavy cream, a teaspoon at a time, until it reaches your desired spreadable consistency.
  • This delicious, guilt-free frosting is ready to elevate about a dozen cupcakes or your favorite keto dessert!
