Golden Graham S’mores Bars

These bars combine crunchy cereal, gooey marshmallows, and rich chocolate.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag (10.5 oz) miniature marshmallows (5 1/2 cups)
  • 1.5 cups milk chocolate chips (9 oz)
  • 5 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 box (13 oz) Golden Grahams cereal (8 cups)

Instructions
 

  • Grease a 13×9-inch pan with butter and set aside 1 cup of marshmallows.
  • In a large saucepan, melt the chocolate chips, butter, corn syrup, and the remaining marshmallows over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  • Remove from heat and mix in the vanilla.
  • Add the cereal to the saucepan and stir until well coated.
  • Fold in the reserved marshmallows.
  • Press the mixture into the prepared pan using the back of a buttered spoon.
  • Allow to cool for at least 1 hour or until set. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
