- 1/3 cup water
- 2 whole cinnamon sticks

- 2 fl oz fresh apple cider
- 1 fl oz fresh-squeezed orange juice
- 0.5 fl oz fresh lime juice A good squeeze
- 1/2 fl oz homemade cinnamon-honey simple syrup or more for a sweeter taste
- 2 tablespoons coarse sea salt optional, for glass rim
- Thin apple slices for a beautiful garnish
- Tart cranberries for a beautiful garnish
- Extra cinnamon sticks for a beautiful garnish
Combine the honey, water, and cinnamon sticks in a small saucepan. Warm this mixture over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously until the honey is completely dissolved. Remove from the heat and let it cool down. This syrup can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to two weeks!
If you love a salted rim, take a lime wedge and moisten the edge of your margarita glass. Pour the coarse sea salt onto a small, flat plate. Carefully dip the wet rim of your glass into the salt, ensuring it's evenly coated. Fill your prepared glass generously with fresh ice.
Into a cocktail shaker, pour in the tequila, fresh apple cider, fresh-squeezed orange juice, lime juice, and your cooled cinnamon-honey simple syrup. Add a handful of fresh ice to the shaker.
