Ingredients
  

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough 14 oz
  • 2 tablespoons marinara sauce plus extra for dipping
  • 16 slices pepperoni
  • 8 mini mozzarella balls or cubes
  • 1 egg lightly beaten with 2 teaspoons water

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the pizza dough and cut out 8 circles using a 3.5 or 4-inch cutter.
  • Place a small spoonful of marinara sauce in the center of each circle, then add two pepperoni slices and a mozzarella piece.
  • Fold the edges over the filling, pinching to seal completely.
  • Arrange the filled dough on the baking sheet.
  • Wrap each dough ball with kitchen twine, dividing it into eight sections to resemble a pumpkin.
  • Brush the tops with the beaten egg mixture.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  • Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then carefully remove the twine.
  • Serve warm with extra marinara sauce.
