0.33cupcooked bacon, crumbled(for a lighter option, use turkey bacon)
0.5cuplight sour cream(or plain Greek yogurt for extra protein)
1tbspdry ranch seasoning mix
2tbspfinely chopped red onion
1-2tbspfresh dillchopped (or 1 tsp dried dill)
Salt & black pepperto taste
Instructions
If using regular bacon, cook until crispy, then crumble and set aside to cool. (Skip this step if using pre-cooked or turkey bacon).
Slice your cucumbers into ¼-inch rounds. There's no need to peel if using English or mini varieties!
In a small bowl, whisk together the light sour cream (or Greek yogurt) and ranch seasoning mix until smooth and creamy.
In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the sliced cucumbers, shredded cheddar, crumbled bacon, chopped red onion, and fresh dill.
Pour the creamy ranch dressing over the ingredients and toss gently until everything is evenly coated.
Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper to your liking. Serve immediately for a fresh crunch, or chill for 10-15 minutes to let the flavors meld perfectly. Enjoy!
