Ingredients
  

  • 1 bottle chilled sparkling lemon-lime soda (2-liter) (opt for sugar-free or sparkling water for a healthier twist)
  • 3 cups 100% cranberry juice (choose unsweetened or no-sugar-added to reduce sugar content)
  • 2 cups fresh orange juice (freshly squeezed is best for flavor and less added sugar)
  • 1 orange thinly sliced (optional, for a vibrant garnish)
  • 1 to 2 cups fresh cranberries (optional, for a festive touch and extra chill)
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup chosen liquor (such as vodka or rum, optional, for an adult version; note vodka has fewer calories)

Instructions
 

  • Combine Juices: In a large punch bowl or a fancy drink dispenser, gently pour in the cranberry juice and orange juice. Give it a light stir to mix them well. You can prepare this juice base up to 24 hours ahead and chill it!
  • Add Fizz (Just Before Serving!): Right before you're ready to serve your guests, slowly add the chilled sparkling lemon-lime soda. Stir very gently once or twice to combine without losing too many of those delightful bubbles.
  • Garnish & Chill: Add plenty of ice to keep your punch refreshingly cold. For an extra festive and practical touch, float those pretty orange slices and fresh cranberries on top. A great tip for avoiding watery punch: freeze cranberries or orange slices in advance and use them as "ice"!
  • Adult Option (Optional): If you're creating an adult version for your gathering, carefully stir in your chosen liquor. Vodka is a popular and delicious choice that pairs wonderfully with these flavors.
