Get Your Air Fryer Ready: Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
Prep Your Apples: Wash your apples thoroughly. Using a sharp knife or a mandoline, slice them super thin – aim for potato chip thinness! You can remove the core if you prefer, or simply slice around it.
Season the Slices: Lay your apple slices flat and lightly spray them with coconut oil. Then, sprinkle generously with ground cinnamon, making sure to coat both sides for maximum flavor.
Air Fry to Crispy Perfection: Arrange the seasoned apple slices in a single layer in your air fryer basket. Try your best to prevent them from overlapping so they crisp up evenly.
Cook in Two Stages: Air fry for 12 minutes. After the first round, carefully flip each apple slice and cook for another 10 minutes. Keep a close eye on them during the last few minutes, as air fryer models can vary!
Cool and Crunch: Once golden and crispy, remove the apple chips from the air fryer and place them on a plate or a cooling rack. They'll continue to crisp up even more as they cool for a minute or two.
Enjoy Your Wholesome Summer Snack!
